This is Sunday(yesterday). A friend of mine was expected in Mumbai after finishing her work(summers) in hyderabad. We were just crawling with time having nothing to do. Then there was this welcome rain in mumbai for the last 3 days. What a feeling to get into rain n enjoy the coolness of fresh water splashing on u when u run r have a slow scroll across the streets. i always enjoy the smell that comes along with the first touch of rrain with the land. That smell i think is the only smell that cannot b replicated by man in any time in the future. Man can never conquer nature in that. Let me atleast hope coz i had always had great faith in man's ability to do things that seems impossible at one time.
coming back to the point, she was supposed to tuch down at mumbai at around 2.00 PM. As it was raining we thought we need to leave for the station a bit earlier so that we catch up with her n also we can have some good time looking at the people at the station. So we started at around 12.oo noon. Our locaity being in the outskirts of mumbai, we need to take a train to the central station, n fast trains doesn't stop at our station. To our disappointment we found that some maintenance work was going on in the central line and so we need to go to the next station to take a train as no slow train was scheduled till 3.45 PM. We took a train to a station down side and went there. In a Sunday atleast i don't expect this crowd at stations!!!!!!!!!!!.
we had to travel in a heavily crowded train till we reached central. There our frnd was already waiting for the last 2 hrs.We had a good laugh at our bad luck and then proceeded to have our lunch. Then we sent her off to her granny's house and we headed to our repository........ Marine Lines
