hey bro, was just going thru ur blogs as have ample amount of time. i agree with u, it is one of the most powerful statements that i have come across in fiction novels (another fav of mine is in Godfather: the way don corleone affirms that he is doin a favor simply floors u. just look at the words. sorry i dont remember them verbatim). but dont u think this novel is somewhat impractical, the characters too steely and strong. no chinks in armor, eh? - Aseem
@Aseem: Yeah I agree with you...the characters are made as if they dont have "any chinks in the armour"...but I think, thats the way a novelist weaves her story..around an infallible man/woman and goes to say what happened to them...I am yet to finish the book, so cant give a full fledged opinion on it...
But, when we read something like that, u wonder what would it be to have them in life...U try to be one...but thats other part of the story...
