Straight Angle™: Silence!
|
Monday, November 14, 2005Silence!A daily stroll in the archived electronic cemetry... A lone "Good Morning" mail in the wades of useless chatter... Meaningless "Ummmms" and "Hmmms"..... Unreplied missives.. Replied bullets.... Somehow, he feels, he was happier with meaningless chatter Than with meaningful Silence! Graveyard's silence, Is far worse than the incessant noise of a forest... How he hated the noise... Then, he hated the silence! Wretched Silence.. n wretched Lives! He never knew, Silence kills... Now, he will never know! Good! Really worth reading ur blog. I like ur Tamil and English lines. Tamil is more lively, to say the truth.
@Benny: Thanks for the comment..The tamil work is not mine..may be thats the reason they are lively...it is a song written by Vairamuthu in the film, "Kannathil Muthamittal"
Your poem's making me saaaaaaad! :-((
Yes..its indeed true..Silence kills you more than even the harsh "NO"....
@DD: That poem made me sad too...thats the purpose of that poem right?:P
@nithya:Thats true indeed!
hi krish, coming to your blog after a long time. nice poem, almost like those post-modern war poems. did u write it?
@Amrita:Welcome amrita..thanks for the comment..ofcourse, I wrote it...but there were inspirations for it too!...The first bit of idea"the archieved emails" was something that I read somewhere else...the remaining all are my own words!..
Krish, blog-hopped from Eroteme's place... Lovely pot-pouri of thoughts you have here.
Don't you think that silence is better experienced than interpreted? :-)
@meera:Hi..welcome home!:-).Thanks for the comment!
Silence, I think is a great language...while it is great for the communicator, it can be miserable at times for the receiver!..Hope U get what I mean..the post was made by a receiver!, not a communicator!:-)
